Are the oils and stains in the NorDeck products safe for touch and handling?
All the stains and oils are accepted products for outdoor furniture use and perfectly safe to handle. As an initial precaution for all stained furniture, we recommend that the furniture be given a quick wipe before use to remove any excess stain dust from the factory, this will reduce the chance of any stain dust transfering to clothes and staining them.

If a product is available through special order, how soon can we get one delivered?
For the moment, we stock some wood types here in the UK, and some in Estonia at the factory. If you are interested in a product that is currently stocked in Estonia, contact us and we will let you know the approximate time the delivery would take. We will bring your order over to the UK together with our next stock transfer and organise the delivery for you.

Why don’t you use certified wood?
Since the wood for the NorDeck products is mainly sourced in Estonia, the forest management and harvesting at the source level is already governed by EU sustainable forestry regulations and we are quite satisfied with this. However, the manufacturer is  currently (summer 2014) working on PEFC certifying their whole production line, which requires some investments into IT systems at the factory. The Siberian larch used is sourced in Russia from a state owned company to ensure legality of origin to the extent possible at this stage. However, the goal of our supplier is to use certified larch as soon as possible. The acquisition of certified wood from Russia has been challenging due to certification being such a new concept there. With the new demand from the consumers and distributors we predict that the timber companies will adopt EU/FSC certifications shortly, updates will be placed in our news section as and when they appear.

Returns and Replacements?
The following excludes goods which are under special order, which carry a 20% cancellation fee. If you have never been to one of our NordEco Style event stalls, but have only bought online; and if for any reason (other than damage or a fault) you are not happy with your order you can cancel up until 7 working days after delivery. Providing the item(s) are unused, are still in a completely saleable condition and in their original packaging, we will issue a refund less the delivery charge and a collection fee. To arrange a return please contact customer services oncustomer.services@nordeco.co.uk. Please note on timber items we will not accept returns or exchange items on a like for like basis due to the character of wood or what we deem timber markings. For reasons of hygiene we cannot refund or exchange used cushions unless they’re faulty. Refunds will be issued by the customer services department to the card which was used to place the order once we have confirmed receipt of the item (s). All display, ex-display and clearance items are sold as seen without further restoration. All stock items must be paid for in full at the time of order. Display items are non-returnable, non-refundable and a credit note will not be issued if you change your mind.

Error message at checkout: “Sorry, no quotes are available for this order at this time.”?If you get this message at the checkout delivery section, please revise your postcode spelling.
